Is Immortology a cult? This is a question that may have arisen in your mind, or perhaps your friends and family are trying to dissuade you from following the often strange and contradictory teachings of a weird guy in a mask. But let me assure all of you that Immortology is not a cult.
I acknowledge that Immortology may indeed seem like a cult at first sight: the mask, the voice, the clothes, and so on. We all know that all cults have strong leader figures. But the reason I want to stay anonymous is exactly because it’s not about me, it’s about you. I don’t want you to worship me, to follow me or even to recognize me.
None of the cults seems like a cult at first sight, while Immortology does seem like a cult at first, but it’s not. In contrast, what you will find if you dive deeper into my work, is that Immortology is a good example of an anti-cult. Besides trying to shift the emphasis from my personality, here are all the different ways this mystery school is different.
Instead of blind faith, I teach you skepticism and critical thinking. I speak against belief and for direct experience all through my content. I even debunk many of the paranormal phenomena many new agers hold so dear. I have a very down-to-earth approach to spirituality without all the nonsense and woo-woo, because that’s the only way to the naked and ultimate truth.
You were programmed by your own parents, you were indoctrinated by your own teachers, and you were brainwashed by your own culture. You can look at me as a deprogrammer who rids you of all the dysfunctional mental clutter to be able to see reality as it is. With that said, I don’t encourage you to cut ties with your family and friends, only to rebuild a healthier relationship with them if necessary.
I don’t claim that Immortology is the only way to truth, there are many other viable ways. It’s one path from the many others, but it’s certainly unique in its approach. I know it’s not for everyone, and it doesn’t have to be. I don’t want to save the world, I only want to serve those few who are ready for a new and radical approach and who feel attracted to this particular path.
I also don’t claim that I know everything and that I’m always right. What I know is that I have some unique insights and experiences that can certainly help you on your own spiritual journey. We are on this path together, I’m just probably a little further ahead, because I invested so much time and energy into this work. I can help you avoid the traps and shorten your journey, that’s all.
Unlike a cult leader, I don’t want you to depend on me, I want you to be totally independent. I don’t want to entrap you, I want to free you from all mental bondage, even from those you don’t even recognize yet. And when you reached the final liberation, I want you to forget about Immortology, to leave it behind along with your old life and self.
Immortology doesn’t give you an us-versus-them mentality. The enemy is not somewhere out there, it’s right within you, and it’s called the ego. I am simply helping you to see beyond your ego, to give you a higher perspective, to release yourself from its clutches. Immortology is in fact a step-by-step process to systematically destroy your ego and uncover your true self. My goal is not to give you a new identity, but to free you from all identifications.
I’m not doing it for the money either. I do have paid programs for those who want to go deeper or rent my personal time, but most of my content is available for free. I have other sources of income to support myself financially, and I would continue this work even if I didn’t see a single cent from it.
And last but not least, Immortology is not a death or a suicide cult. I am against suicide and I don’t promote death. I don’t want to encourage either fear from or desire for death. What I promote is the importance of the awareness of death, without fear and desire.
I want to assure you that you have nothing to worry about if you follow the path of Immortology. You are in good hands, and I have no intentions to deceive you, to abuse you or to harm you in any way. Immortology is not a cult, and it won’t become one either.
